ITINERARY
May 10
Transfer from your Bangkok hotel to the Airport for flight to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Arrival in Chiang Mai and transfer to The Empress Chiang Mai Hotel. (3 night stay) Map of Chiang Mai. Khantoke dinner with traditional northern Thai food and entertainment.
Overnight at the Empress Chiang Mai – Superior room.
May 11
Breakfast at hotel. Tour Doi Suthep Temple & Handicraft Village. Overnight at the Empress Chiang Mai.
May 12
Breakfast at hotel. Elephant Riding and Bamboo Rafting. Overnight at the Empress Chiang Mai.

Siem Reap - Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat ( L /D, lunch and dinner included)
Upon arrival at Siem Reap you’ll be greeted by your tour guide and be transferred to hotel for check in. Siem Reap is a small colonial town, with fine examples of French colonial architectures. Once situated, we will visit Angkor Thom starting from the South Gate. Angkor Thom, a ten square kilometre fortified city which enclosed by an eight meter high wall and encircled by a hundred meter moat, was built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII (1181 – 1219). The ancient walled city of Angkor Thom contains the famous Bayon Temple with its 200 enormous, mysterious smiling faces, the Elephant Terrace with its large sculptured royal elephants and Garudas, the Terrace of Leper King, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Royal Palace, and Woman and Man Pond. Continue to visit Ta Prohm - the temple that has been left largely in its natural state since its recovery. Surrounded by jungle, it’s labyrinth of stones like tentacles. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit the marvelous Angkor Wat - One of the Seven Wonders in the world, the largest temple in the world, with a volume of stones equalling that of the Cheops Pyramid in Egypt. The temple was built by King Suryavarman II from 1113-1150AD, when the Khmer civilization was at the height of its development, represent one of humankind’s most astonishing and enduring architectural achievements. Dinner at restaurant.

May 14
Siem reap-Banteay Srey & Banteay Samrei ( B /L /D ) Morning: Breakfast at hotel, then visit Banteay Srey and Banteay Samrei. Banteay Srey, The Citadel of the Women, so called because it is made of pink sandstone and considered a tribute to the beauty of women. Its small size, delicate carvings and remarkable state of preservation makes Banteay Srey one of everyone favourite temples. Lunch at restaurant, Afternoon: Visit TaKeo, Banteay Kdey, Srah Srang and Kravan, and view the romantic sunset on Phnom Bakheng. Dinner at restaurant with traditional Apsara dance show.

May 15
Siem Reap-Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Mebon, Pre Rup. ( B /L /D ) Morning: Breakfast at hotel, visit Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Mebon and Pre Rup. Lunch at restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit Roluos Group, the three monuments located 13km east of Siem Reap town, offer a look at the earliest definition of Khmer civilization. These temples, Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko, were built in the 9th century under Indravarman I. Bakong is also the site of a modern Buddhist monastery. Dinner at restaurant.

May 16
Breakfast at hotel Halong Bay. Transfer to the Airport for flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. Upon arrival, transfer to Halong Bay. Map: Halong Journey to Halong Bay is about four hours, you will enjoy the Vietnam village lifestyle and rice fields. Visit Hong Ngoc handicraft center and Dong Trieu Ceramic village. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight on board junk boat.
May 17
HALONG BAY / HANOI (B/L/D) After breakfast, kick off a four hours boat ride touring the Halong Bay viewing multi-shaped rocks and visit the dramatic Paradise Grotto. Lunch will be served on board with fresh seafood. Afternoon return to Hanoi. Stop in Hai Duong to try local specialties of green bean cakes. Arrival in Hanoi, enjoy the world famous Water Puppet Show. Dinner at a local restaurant.
