How do I balance the loss of four dear friends with the fellowship experience that we were enjoying flying together after the Chicago Convention? I cannot and will not try. We will remember the four that we have lost, not only, as great companions but also as fine Rotarians and pillars of strength in their local communities. In the days following the accident the degree of loss that will be felt in places as far apart as Phoenix, Arizona and Wagga Wagga, Australia became even clearer through the messages that I received. The photographs on this site recording the trip, the places of interest that we visited and, yes, the fun that we had is dedicated to them: Chip and Pat Rollins and Peter and Helen Walsh. They leave a void in our lives, in Rotary and in their communities but they also leave the memory of what they did and what they achieved in their lives.
