MEMBER MANAGER

Our new database is now up and running and it is there for all members to use. If members access the system and keep their profiles up to date, it will make the administration of Sections and International very much easier.

Instructions to get you to your profile.

In your web browser type in    www.membermanager.net/iffr

This will bring up the Member manager screen. Click Login (top right)  If it your first log in.

.               User Name    your initial user name is the 1^st part of your e-mail address before the                                                                        “@” leaving out any punctuation such as full stop or underscore

                                                e.g  joe.doe_smith@unesco.com  becomes “joedoesmith”

                Password =  your initial password -type in   changethispwd

Select (click) SUBMIT ( under password )

You will now be in the  Instruction Screen.

        Select ( click) Applications

        Select (click) Members. The list of members will appear.

Now  Select (click) “ Edit My Info” top right of bar.

                        This should bring up your details.

                        Change whatever you like  but you must change to your own password otherwise the                           “changethispwd” will be common to many members.

                                          write down your password for future use

Select(click) “Submit” from top right bar

 Then Logout or look round at other features

We are having a bit of trouble with the telephone format and the system sometimes rejects your changes as it asks for US phone number format xxx-xxx-xxxx. Just try some alternatives in changing your phone format till it accepts

The system has a number of facilities for exchanging ideas, Section Secretaries can E-mail their sections,post events, setting up standing instructions etc.

The payment of dues for subs and events will be available once we all become familiar with the site. Individuals are able to check their own payment records.

ALL OF THIS DEPENDS ON MEMBERS KEEPING THEIR INDIVIDUAL RECORD UP TO DATE

For those who have logged in and checked their profiles, as well as inserting their personal photograph thanks. It helps to bring us much closer together.
