International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians |
IFFR Americas at Oshkosh Airventure 2009
by Mark
Hagen, North Central Section Chair, IFFR Americas
Wednesday July 29, 2009
A number of IFFR members attending Oshkosh were able to get
together for a BBQ at Mark & Karen Hagen’s motor home in Camp Scholler on the
EAA grounds. This is the second annual event and will be held again next year on
Wednesday of the weeklong event. Any IFFR member attending Air Venture is
welcome to come for an evening of socializing and food.

Pictured above are Tim Freudenthal, Mike Woods, Bill Talen, Steve Johnston, Paul Lamb, Karen Hagen, Linda Freudenthal, Rankin Whittington, and Ken Dwight. These Rotarians, along with Mark Hagen who took the picture, also attended the Oshkosh SW Rotary meeting Wednesday noon on the EAA grounds. John Boyd who is President/CEO of Mission Aviation Fellowship provided a very interesting program at the meeting. MAF operates in 51 countries with 134 aircraft. John’s personal conviction and his emotional delivery were very inspiring.
