Fly In and Sun n Fun Weekend

Join us for the revival of SE IFFR activities.

Thursday, March 29, 2012 - Saturday March 31, 2012 Leeward Air Ranch, 10 nm SE of Ocala, FL After several years of inactivity, the SE chapter of IFFR is open for business. Peter and Ellen Wenk have volunteered to host this event at their home located at the Leeward Air Ranch (FD04), 10 nm SE of Ocala, FL. The Wenks have accommodations for 3 couples in their home and several neighbors have offered to open their homes for additional guests. A Holiday Inn Express is nearby for overflow or those preferring private accommodations. Thursday · Noon Luncheon at Peter Wenk’s home. · Afternoon activities in Ocala area including a visit to a neighbor’s hanger to view his P-40 project. · Evening Cookout at Peter’s home Friday · Breakfast with Peter’s Rotary Club · Fly to Lakeland for Sun n Fun Participants may remain in Ocala if they prefer. · Afternoon return to Leeward Air Ranch Dinner at local restaurant Saturday · Breakfast at local restaurant · Depart for home at your leisure Expenses will be handled individually with contribution for Thursday lunch and dinner.
